Alternatively spend the day playing another 18 holes at Millbrook or at the local Arrowtown course. Dinner this evening is booked at the resort’s Millhouse Restaurant

Golf at Jacks Point
Today we tee off at Jacks Point Golf Course. The course is bounded by the Remarkables mountain range and Lake Wakatipu. It traverses through wetland to the lake edge encountering steep bluffs, indigenous vegetation and wildlife. It is designed to work with nature, not against it. Fairways are designed with minimal excavation and careful plantings to complement the natural environment, but also to give the golfer a fighting chance.

For our final night in Queenstown, we are booked at the Bistro at Amisfield Winery for dinner. Continuing the principles of their winemaking philosophy "Grown Not Made" the country style bistro at Amisfield Winery provides a daily changing menu of organic and locally sourced produce. Their chef has created a menu to compliment our range of estate grown wines to be enjoyed in our architecturally award winning winery or in the stunning courtyard setting. We recommend the ?Trust the Chef? menu selection.

Terrace Downs
A mid morning flight transfers us to Christchurch where we transfer to Terrace Downs High Country Resort where we are based for two nights. After a quick lunch we tee off in the early afternoon. The golf course is designed to thrill golfers of all competency levels. It is set at an altitude of 450m against a backdrop of snow-dusted Alps and golden tussocked foothills that are a hunting, jet boating, hiking, 4wding, horse riding, skiing and fishing playground. It is not difficult to imagine the Lord of the Rings cities that were built into this landscape.

The course is rated among the top three in New Zealand. The views are awesome, challenging you to keep your eye on the ball.

Terrace Downs or exploring the high country
A game is scheduled for mid morning. However people may choose to select from a range of wonderful activities and excursions in the local hill country region.
